Logging in too quickly - can't enter casting mode

I'm using the multi portal bot meta. I'm not posting this in the meta section because this has to do with vtank.
Once the character logs out and click the Login button, it spams it (since the character is still in game).
Sometimes, I end up logging in but then can't enter casting mode, getting a yellow text message on screen that you can't go into casting mode while in portal space.
Is there any way to fix this without logging out and in again?
